OneCNCXR8 Release 63.03

OneCNC Release update 63.03 is now available in the OneCNC Update server.

OneCNCXR8 Version release 63.03 consists of the following updates.

This release is a major release because includes internal logic control and simulation control of the 4 Axis milling as well as other internal corrections and improvements. The major items of this release are listed here.

4 Axis Milling (Added Module)
In this release there has been a major update internally in the functionality and logic to assist in posting and simulation. This applies to position machining 4 axis full machining and 4 axis wrap machining.

4 Axis Wrap Machining (Added Module)
As you are aware the 4axis function must have the geometry on the X axis then set to be applied to the axis of choice.

If a user is licenced just for 4axis full (added Module)

This module can be set to be applied to X axis or the Y axis.

Prior to creating the tool paths the post should be prior set to the axis of the machine which would be either the X or the Y axis.

Then when setting the dialog in the 4axis setting in OneCNC the axis should be set the same as the post which would be X or Y.

When both settings are set the tool paths can then be created.

If a user is licenced 5axis Positional including 4axis (added Module)

The 4axis wrap geometry must be made to wrap around the X axis of OneCNC then applied to the required axis X Y or Z.

This module can be set to X axis Y axis or the Z axis in the tool path dialog.

Prior to creating the tool paths the post should be prior set to the axis of the normal machine post which would be already set and be either the X or the Y axis snf the Z being in the vertical axis.

Then when setting the dialog in the 4axis setting in OneCNC the axis should be set the same as the post which would be X  Y or Z in the tool path dialog.

When both settings are set the tool paths can then be created.

4 Axis Full Machining

4 Axis full machining the model is positioned on the axis that it is to be machined and this applies to all the axis X Y or Z.

A user with a 4 axis licence can apply the tool path to the X or Y axis

4 axis Wrap and 4 axis Full applied to the fifth axis.

To apply 4 axis full to the Z axis this requires a 5 axis licence.

Then the wrap is posted to wrap around the 5th axis which is the Z axis

5 Axis positional machining

There is a rotation adjustment to handle specific rotation settings.

OneCNCXR8 Version 63.03 is now available in the OneCNC File Manager.
